Jennifer Plusch

Jen came to yoga skeptical that it would be as enjoyable as the fast paced competitive sports she spent her life playing. However, after her first power vinyasa class with Jill Abraham she was hooked; there was nothing stagnant or easy about it. She found that it challenged her physically in a whole different way and created space and clarity, plus she had fun!

After a sports injury shattered some bones she began to re-evaluate what was best for her body and mind. When she got the Doctor's 'Okay' she made yoga a daily practice. Being mindful and present to what her body needed not only helped her physically but eased her anxiety and depression. Whether in the studio or sharing her mat with her dogs at home, the simple art of linking breath to movement in a conscious way was a lifesaver. She earned her 200hr. certification through Power Yoga of Cape Cod in the Spring of 2017. There is always more to learn and she enjoys expanding her practice and teaching by taking workshops, classes and self-study. She feels truly blessed to be able to learn and grow from the teachers and guests at PYCC. Jen enjoys teaching a fast-paced, fun vinyasa class where the students can make the practice their own. Always offering modifications and encouragement, she leaves her students both challenged and inspired, maybe even with a smile and a few laughs while they're at it. Don’t be surprised if she sneaks in a favorite boxing or roller derby drill every once in a while just to keep you on your toes and out of your head!
