Join Jill for this 90 minute workshop to learn the foundational aspects of going upside down into a headstand. With alignment cues, techniques, modifications and adjustments, one can find the perfect balance to maintain this powerful pose, and receive all the benefits of going upside down in a careful and mindful way. The benefits of headstand include core strength and stability, focus and balance, steadiness and calm, and the feeling of being grounded. We often miss out on this powerful pose out of fear of falling. However, with good technique and alignment, you will gain tools to build gracefully and successfully into this pose. This workshop will be a fun, non-intimidating approach that will flip your world upside down and take your yoga practice to a whole new level! Guaranteed to make you sweat and smile!
