A Season of Peace

This workshop will give you the time, space and focus to reconnect with the wise part of your being.

Jen will lead the first part of this workshop with a Yin yoga sequence.  Yin yoga works with the deeper, subtle tissues in the body and frees up energetic blockages.  Longer held poses help to open the deeper tissues of the body.  Tension, fatigue, injury and trauma in connective tissue can benefit from this gentle yet deep practice.  Yin yoga is a great way to explore the meditative aspect of a physical yoga practice.  The result is a more flexible body and a more peaceful mind. Kristen will lead the second part in Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra (DSYN), a guided meditation that systematically relaxes you at every level of being.  Through the use of breath awareness, body scanning, and imagery, DSYN invites you into a conscious deep sleep, realigning the physical and subtle bodies.  In this workshop you will be guided on a journey through the chakras.

We will discuss all the ways in which food helps to play a role in: stabilizing weight gain and loss, balancing emotional highs and lows, minimizing and even eliminating diseases and common ailments, restoring your natural energy and vitality, and contributing to the planet for all.

    Week 3.  Buffet Extravaganza!

    Get to taste all the fun recipes that you will receive from Rory and Jill (via email at the start of the program) made for you by the amazing staff at Organic Market.  Meeting will be held and food will be served at the Organic Market Dennisport! Recipes will be handed out at the end of the session!

    Week 4. Coaching Calls
     Receive personal coaching from Rory or Jill during this time of trial, experiments, possibilities and integration!

    Week 5. 
     Tap into your body's naturalness and wisdom through Yoga and Meditation. Through these practices, you will discover your body's natural desires to eat clean, healthy foods that support your lifestyle and energy output.  Jill will lead you through a yoga flow that will bring you back to your center of peace and wisdom, followed by a meditation on mindfulness, to empower you off the mat and in your life!

     Potluck: Wrapping things up! Let's Celebrate the GIFT we have given ourselves by empowering ourselves through this journey as a community!! Each student will bring their new favorite dish that they have discovered through the workshop to share with the rest of the group!!
